Hi there!

I’m Polina, a freelance illustrator and content creator based in Northern California. Using watercolors, I’m interested in exploring and celebrating the energy behind life, the magic that exists just to the left of what we can see with our eyes. My art is inspired by all things nature, folk art, scientific and spiritual illustrations, and Art Nouveau.

Apolinarium is a channel for my inner world: a way to connect to my own creativity and encourage others to engage with what inspires them.

Outside of art, I love rock climbing, travelling, swimming in rivers, and playing guitar. I spend most of my free time adventuring outdoors, which plays a major role not only in the paintings I make, but also in my values. I am extremely passionate about environmentalism and sustainability and take great care to ensure that the partners I work with believe in the same.
